I purchased a HP1000 from Maplins a few months ago and found it works very well.Have done a few modsto make it more accurate.Moved the outside temp sensor down to 4ft above the ground and fitted the rain gauge tipping bucket in to an old rain measuring container and fixed that to the top of my 4ft fence.Also replaced the reed switch with a better design one.More reliable and more accurate.Wind and wind speed are about 20 ft up on a scaffold pole that drops down for maintanence
