A lot of trouble on the rain guage bucket can be traced to a black spider and his strong web.
Don't know about the latest (HP wifi series) but my original system from Altronics has been fine for a few years. FOSK sent a new UV sensor (proper readings now) and its been good too. Just watch for the spider's web.
