One last attempt to get the HP1000 operating correctly, I have sent another email to FOSHK asking for assistance, the Australian distributors are next to useless and Holman Industries who were selling them through Bunnings are no longer supplying FOSHK products. My HP1000 is now reading between 10-23 degrees above the ambient temperature, transmitting incorrect information to Wunderground.com, station ID: IVICTORI327 I also cannot get the latest upgrade to work, I download ito to the SD card but it wont update the console, I did it with the first update with no problems. I will report back when (and if) I hear back from FOSHK, the weather station should last more than a couple of years.
